Description
The Loxley 8' x 16' Ashwater Summer House is a beautiful summerhouse with the glazed front providing lots of natural light. There are double doors giving easy access for your garden furniture and imagine dining here with the doors thrown open to enjoy your garden. This Summer House has opening windows, the number determined by the building size so please look at the plan drawing provided.
This lovely garden room is constructed from high grade 12 mm pine shiplap boards over sturdy 34 mm x 34mm framing. The floor and roof are 12 mm T&G with mineral roof felt provided to complete the roof exterior. The windows and doors are joinery made quality and of a storm resistant design. Interchangeable side panels so the window can go on either side. The Summer house is supplied with a dip treated base coat preservative ready for you to top coat to your choice immediately on installation; this could be a paint or a stain. Assembly instructions and a fixing kit are included. Imperial dimensions are approximate to the nearest foot; please refer to the exact metric dimensions in the data given. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and access for installation and painting. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all products as soon as possible. Please check individual product pages for delivery lead times and services associated with each product in your order. Below is an outline of the services we offer on Loxley products.
Standard Delivery
Following your order being processed you will receive an SMS text message introducing ourselves with an invitation to visit our dedicated delivery booking website where you can select your own delivery date. Our Customer Care team will attempt to contact any customers that have not booked a delivery date within 24hrs of this SMS being sent to offer further assistance.
You will then receive another SMS text message the working day before your delivery date with a 4 hour time slot to give you a good indication of when your order will arrive.
A final SMS will be sent to you the morning of your delivery with a link to track your delivery in real time. This means you will have a more accurate indication of when your order will arrive whilst being made fully aware of any unexpected delays.
Following delivery a confirmation will be sent to you for your reference as proof of delivery.
Lead times for standard services are stated at the top of the page and may be extended depending on location and circumstances. Upgraded services may also result in a longer lead time.
Installation Service
Installation is available on many of our products for most UK postcodes and the lead time is normally between 14-21 working days after your order has been delivered. This is to ensure that you have fully inspected the product and are happy to proceed. In busy periods this lead-time may increase.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
No, you do not need to be home for your delivery. All we ask is that you let us know via email to let us know that you will not be present for the delivery. In the email please let us know where a suitable place would be to leave the building. Our delivery drivers are NOT allowed to place your shed in your back gardens even if the gate is left open.
Will I need to help my delivery driver?
Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
We deliver between 8am and 7pm. If your order has not been delivered when expected please click here.
Please Note: Additional items such as the plastic shed bases, security locks and shelving may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you are likely to receive multiple deliveries.
